SFR3 is a boutique real estate investment fund acquiring $2.5B+ of single-family homes by 2024. We specialize in renovating distressed homes, using software-driven operations to scale a large number of smaller markets concurrently. In just over 2 years, we’ve grown to 7,000+ homes in over two dozen metros, and we’re continuing to expand. As part of our growth, we are looking for A Renovation Director to oversee our Specifications, and own SFR3 quality across the country.
SFR3 is different. Unlike other funds, our software automates work orders, payments, and other back office drudgery, enabling your teams to focus on renovating homes. You’ll put your leadership to work as a Renovation Director, but not by managing a single Market, you’ll be developing, maintaining and evangelizing SFR3’s guidelines and specifications. Ultimately, you will drive how we build homes. You'll set the standards for how we renovate, evolve how we train our teams across the country, and maintain a high bar for the results. SFR3 wins when homes are delivered on time, on budget, and to our quality standard, and your role not only establishes those standards, but ensures those standards are upheld throughout the Renovation Org.

A relentless goal-oriented approach. You don’t sit behind a desk and wait for the reports to roll in. You’re on the move, in the air, driving homes in multiple markets, and finding the problems before they find you. Your phone is always blowing up, because your team knows you can clear roadblocks.
Attention to detail. You’ll fully own the spec, and be responsible for the execution of millions of dollars of renovation projects each year. You will supervise, coach, and support a team of Owner’s Representatives, each of whom are cultivating and ensuring every home is renovated correctly. . You’ll work with a team of experts developing standards and specifications that can be replicated at scale.
Human-centered leadership. Without your team in the field, nothing gets done. You create leverage by enabling and empowering your team to shoot for the stars themselves. You are the evangelical leader, the all knowing Specification Guru, and the person who always knows which line to hold.
