About SFR3

SFR3 is a boutique real estate investment fund acquiring $3.5B+ of affordable single-family homes by 2024. We specialize in renovating distressed homes, using software-driven operations to scale a large number of smaller markets concurrently. In just over 4 years, we’ve grown to 11k+ homes in over two dozen metros, and we’re continuing to expand. As part of our growth, we are looking for a {scoper_external_title} to {determine the scope of renovation work required to produce a “rent ready” home}!

Your Mandate

SFR3 is different. Unlike other funds, our software is built in-house from the ground up to streamline your workflow and put the fund’s collective knowledge at your fingertips. You focus on what each unique home needs, and we’ll take care of the rest. We’re expanding rapidly, and we need talented Construction Scopers like you to put those tools to work. You will deliver dozens of scopes each month, and you’ll see them all through to successful revenue generation. Accuracy is everything - can you make it happen?

You’ll have to:

  • Perform dozens of scopes every month - which you’ll own any and all changes on until the project is complete and the home is generating revenue
  • Know fund specification like the back of your hand so that the scopes you produce are both accurate (low variance) and precise (with minimal unforeseen changes)
  • Document clear and detailed instructions so that fund Project Managers, Vendors, and Inspectors know exactly what work you have ordered to be completed

And you’ll need:

  • An observant eye for residential construction; you can see the “why” through the “what”
  • 10+ years of residential construction/inspection experience
  • Knowledge of local and national building/property management codes
  • Comfort using technology to manage the workload
  • Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry and HVAC
