About SFR3

SFR3 is a boutique real estate investment fund acquiring $2.5B+ of single-family homes by 2024. We specialize in renovating distressed homes, using software-driven operations to scale a large number of smaller markets concurrently. In just over two years, we’ve grown to 4k+ homes in over two dozen metros, and we’re continuing to expand. We are now looking to expand into new markets! That is where you come into play! This is a new market where you will have a unique opportunity to help us estimate on potential properties. When we purchase you will also be able to manage the renovation projects on acquired homes produced through your efforts. This is unique chance to make money on both sides of the business! This will start as part time (can keep current job) running estimates and turn into full time as a project manager once we are up and running in the market!

Your Mandate

SFR3 is different. Unlike other funds, our software automates work orders, payments, and other back office drudgery. You’ll never spend another day typing up invoices or fending off subs who want to know when they’re going to get paid. You renovate, and we’ll take care of the rest.
We’re expanding rapidly, and we need talented Renovation Managers like you to put those tools to work. You will perform estimates on homes that will turn into acquisitions and result in a high volume of renovation projects! You will be able to make money on BOTH sides (estimates and renovations). Time, budget, and quality is everything - can you make it happen?

You’ll have to:

  • Leverage your physical presence to be the eyes and ears of the fund
  • Be extremely organized, knowing how each piece of the puzzle fits together to finish in time
  • Spot the difference between high-quality work and a workaround that will fail in 90 days
  • Manage concurrent projects, keeping them on schedule and budget

And you’ll need:

  • An ownership mindset to all parts of the job; proactive, self-directed, and highly-motivated
  • 5+ years of residential construction/inspection experience
  • Knowledge of local and national building/property management codes
  • Comfort using technology to manage the workload
  • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry and HVAC

Compensation

  • HIGH Earning potential - You will be paid on BOTH sides of the business
    • Estimating (you will be paid for every estimate you complete - High volume with unlimited earning potential)
    • Renovations/Project management (paid on a per home completion/for every renovation project)
